Week of November 30-December 4 I hope each family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! The days before our Christmas break will be very busy. Beginning Monday, November 30 the children will begin rehearsals for the Advent Concert to be held on Friday, December 11 at 2:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. in the church. I look forward to seeing at the concert! Please send your child to school with a warm jacket or coat. The primary children go out for recess most days throughout the late fall and winter. Thank you. We are nearing the end of the subtraction unit in Math. The test is scheduled for the end of this week (December 3). Multiplication is the next topic to be covered. If your child has not started MEMORIZING the multiplication facts, now is the time! Timed quizzes are given regularly once the facts have been introduced. After the zero's, one's and two's are taught and quizzed as single sets of facts they will reappear on future fact quizzes. Working on five facts per night makes the memorization much easier. I suggest putting a set of flash cards in the car. Your child can practice while at a sibblings basketball practice or other activity.
Or, would you like to view and optionally restore one of these previous versions?
