About The Teacher
Mrs. LaConte is an experienced teacher who loves her job and her students. She is currently teaching sixth thru eighth grade Social Studies. In the past, Mrs. LaConte taught fourth and fifth grade homerooms at a number of parochial schools in the Archdiocese. She is married to a wonderful guy-- Greg LaConte and is the parent of two children-- Nicole and Bradley, and the grandparent to Deven, Dominic and Madeline Debro. In her spare time she enjoys nature and loves to hike miles on the weekend. She also enjoys reading novels by Vince Flynn or Brad Thor. It's all about action! I also enjoy reading any historical fiction novels.

Mission
It is my mission to train children to be independent life-long learners. Each child is unique and has special talents. My job is to provide an atmosphere in which these talents will be nurtured and developed. A major goal is to help children develop accountability for their learning through time-management practices. It is with this in mind that I ask for parental support to make for a successsful year. As always, I ask that parents let me know when there are problems or concerns.
