December is here and so is Jack Frost!! BRRRR!! It has gotten chilly out,so
please be sure your child is dressed appropriately. He/She should wear a
coat, hat,gloves, and even a scarf if need be. I know it may sound silly,but
the children do get cold if they do not have a warm coat. You may even want
to get leggings for the girls' legs.
We are now practicing hard for the beautiful Advent Concert to be held next
Friday, December 11th, at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. Mrs. Vangel did send a note
home about their dress attire. They should wear nice Christmas clothes
except those with costumes. They are to wear a nice outfit to school that
Friday as well as that night for the concert. We will not have P.E. so you
do not have to worry about tennis shoes. If you have any questions you can
contact me or Mrs. Vangel and we will be happy to reply.
Next Tuesday is the Immaculate Conception so we will not have school that
day. However, we will still have Book Reports and Facts Quiz next week.
Also, our Library time will be on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. Please try
to remember to bring the books on Wednesday, December 9th.
I know this time of year always seems to get crazy and full of things to do.
But let us keep in mind what this season is really suppose to be about. It
is not all the THINGS we need to get or do, it is the time to get us ready
for Jesus. HOW? Well, talk to Him. Pray to Him. Listen to Him. Open your
hearts to Him. PREPARE FOR HIM!!! He is here to be with YOU!!!!
