Homework consists mostly of practice sheets reinforcing concepts learned
during the day, reading orally for 20-30 minutes, and studying for tests.
All graded work will be sent home in the Friday Folders along with anything
from the school office. Please return any paper requesting your signature.
If your child does not have his/her homework finished for the following day
he/she will work on it during recess. If it is left at home he/she needs to
bring it to school the next day.
Book reports will be due every Tuesday. The book report form will come home
every Tuesday following Library. Hopefully, your child will enjoy reading
all the different and exciting chapter books available to them. I know some
love to read books instead of listening to the teacher during class.
Also there will be a three minute timed facts quiz every Thursday. A fact
sheet will come home in the Friday Folder to use for practice.
