One area of the guidance program includes classroom guidance. I go into every
classroom (K-6) for 30 minutes every other week. I use books, music, role
play, puppets, videos and other activities to address such topics as anger
control, study skills, making and keeping friends, being drug-free,
understanding our feelings, etc.
Through Classroom Guidance, students and counselor develop a rapport that aids
in addressing concerns or crisis situations.
