<div>This year the Middle school students will have the opportunity to participate in several Mathematics Competitions, at various elementary schools </div>
<div>throughout the Archdiocese.</div>

<div>The various competitions, dates and classes eligible are listed below.  The students will be receiving more information during their math classes.  </div>
<div>More detailed information will be posted as the various contest dates approach.</div>

MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH LEAGUE<br />
<br />
All 6-8 students are invited to participate.<br />
A total of 10 students ( 2 teams of 5 - one 6th, two 7th, and two 8th) per meet.<br />
<div>All students will receive a permission form during the first week of school</div>
<div>      It is due back to Ms. Brand on Friday, September 4th.</div>
<div>Students will be chosen based on their availability for specific dates and  <br />
</div>
<div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;">	</span>on the number of students wishing to participate. </div>
Every effort will be made to include as many students as possible.<br />
Math Meets for 2009-2010 are all on Thursdays and are listed below.<br />

October 15, 2009 -  Holy Redeemer (Webster Groves)<br />
December 3, 2009 -  Sacred Heart  (Eureka)<br />
February 11, 2010 -  St. Richard (Creve Coeur)<br />
April 22, 2010 -  Sacred Heart  (Valley Park)<br />

AMERICAN MATHEMATICS COMPETITION GRADE 8  -  NOVEMBER 16,  2009<br />
<br />
<div>This is the annual in-class mathematics competition given to the 8th grade.</div>
<div>This year's contest date is Monday November 16, 2009.</div>
The top scoring student(s) will be honored at the 8th Grade Assembly in May.<br />
To participate in this contest, a student must be in class that day.<br />

MISSOURI MATH LEAGUE CONTEST  -  ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS - FEBRUARY 2010<br />
<br />
<div>This is an in-class 40 question multiple choice contest given to all middle school students.</div>
<div>This year's contest date for all middle school students will be on</div>
<div>          Tuesday February 16, and Wednesday February 17, 2010.</div>
Top scoring students will be honored at the Awards Assembly at the end of the year.<br />
