About Miss Cochran

Welcome to 2B! I am excited to be your teacher this year! I taught second grade for two years in the Ft. Zumwalt

School District. This is my third year at SGM. I graduated from Truman State University with a B.S. in Psychology

and a Masters' in Elementary Education. I attended Nerinx Hall High School, and spent nine years at SGM before that!

I have nine brothers and sisters who also all went to SGM. I have sixteen nieces and nephews, three brother-in-laws,

and one sister-in-law.

I love to travel, read, do crossword puzzles, play soccer, be with my family and friends, and eat Dewey's pizza!

About Mrs. Southworth

Mrs. Southworth is the second grade aide. She works between both classes and is very helpful! Mrs. Southworth

works in small groups, assists with learning activities, and helps to prepare for activities and projects. She is an

awesome addition in second grade!

Mission for the Class

My goal is to provide a positive learning environment for your child. I believe that all children have the right to learn

and be challenged. I would like to help my students become independent problem solvers. 2B will be a classroom

that offers one another support and encouragement in both academic and social situations.
