What should students bring to class?

For social studies, students should bring a notebook, folder, and their textbook to every class. If
students prefer to use a binder rather than a notebook and folder, that is also acceptable.

When should students complete homework assignments?

Students are expected to turn in homework at the next class meeting unless otherwise instructed. It
is highly recommended that students complete "A day" homework the night it is assigned and "B day"
homework the night it is assigned. This is one of the new adjustments necessary for block
schedules.

What type of homework should we expect to see?

Social Studies does not lend itself to the volume of daily written work that some other subjects do.
However, students will often be asked to read text or review notes and then write reflections,
complete follow up questions, or do outside research. We will also have some special projects
during the year. Additionally, class assignments that are not completed during class time should be
finished at home.

Can I see Trinity Catholic's basketball team play for free?

All SGM students are welcome to come to Trinity Catholic H.S. basketball home games for free!
Parents are not so lucky, but the cost is usually a few dollars. For away games it depends on where
we are playing. Some schools let all grade school students in free, others have a reduced cost. I can
provide schedules for anyone interested.
