Dear Parents,
Next week we have: Bookfair, 1A will be going
on Tuesday at 11:00,Conferences, Primary Parent Lunch,
8:00 am All School Mass on Wed. All of these special activities
bring us closer to our families and school community. Such fun!
Thank you to all of the kind parents who helped
make our Halloween party such a success. The children
enjoyed the day. Also, thank you to our Mystery Reader.
I am looking forward to my conferences with
you next week. Please remember that it is imperative
to be on time as the conferences are only 15 minutes.

In Phonics we have been reviewing short vowel
a,e,i,o,u. We are also learning consonant “l” blends.
Soon we will be learning long vowel a.
Our Spelling tests have been going well. We are
trying to recognize these words when we are reading.
Each day we are trying to remember our manners
towards our teachers and our friends. We are learning
about respect, cooperation, independence and problem
solving skills.
A LOOK AHEAD: The K-2 Holiday Musical is
at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 10.
