<div>Hi my name is Mrs. Cindy Dunning and I will be your child's first grade teacher!</div>
<div>I have been teaching for 19 years. I taught second grade for 3 years at Christ Prince of Peace and 5th grade for 1 year at St. Mary's in Belleville. I have been teaching at St. Gerard for 15 years.  I graduated from McKendree University in Lebanon, IL with a B.S. in Elementary Education. My husband and I have 3 children, Amy-30, Tim 27- and Andrew- 23. We also have 6 grandchildren Michael-13, Emma-11, Madison -3 years old, Jack-2 1/2 years old, Mollie- 1 1/2 years old, and Will-1 month old<br />

<div>Mrs. Watts, our first grade aide, is a wonderful addition to our first grade class! She has worked as a Primary Aide at SGM for the last 9 years. She helps our classes by working with small groups, helping individual students, helping prepare our special projects and activities, and she puts a smile on everyone's face! We are very blessed to have her on our team!</div>

<div>My mission for my class is to teach my students to reach for their goals by challenging themselves.</div>
<div>I want them to use their imaginations. I want to provide a nurturing environment to give the children a love of learning. </div>
<div>I want my students to show Christ's love to others by using kind words, actions, and deeds in the classroom, on the playground, and at home.</div>
