Technology is an amazing learning tool. I look forward to my fifth year of
helping the primary children develop an appreciation for and an
understanding of the computer in an educational setting. Children in
Kindergarten, First and Second Grade attend computer class one
time per week on Thursday.
Students are assessed using teacher created scoring guides designed around
the objective of the lesson. Skills are assigned points and each project
has a total point value. Scoring guides are sent home with the finished
project.
Students are expected to use the technology appropriately, remain seated
throughout the class, and
follow classroom policies.
