In first grade, children will build on skills using the Kid Pix program reviewed during the first quarter.
They will begin using Microsoft Word to do basic word processing. Children will also learn to find an
Internet site by entering the address and work within the site to collect information. Finally, classroom
concepts will be incorporated to build skills and utilize the computer as an educational tool.
