CURRICULUM:
The 6th, 7th and 8th grades will be focusing on blues, jazz and spirituals as
we prepare a program for February. Students will continue to study the
elements of music as they learn songs in these styles.
GRADING: Students will be assigned grades based on their mastery of
concepts as demonstrated by in class activities as well as written and
performance tests. Students will also be assigned a grade based
on participation. Occasional homework assignments and research topics may
be assigned. Points will be deducted for late assignments.
