First Grade - Continue to practice your jumping jacks. Remember the open
and closed positions. Try for 15 everyday.
Second Grade - Continue to practice your juggling routine. Use 2 balls and
toss up and catch using both hands. Then try the one handed routine with the
two balls. Practice this for 5 minutes everyday.
Third Grade and Fourth Grade - Continue practicing your sit ups. Have a
parent or sibling hold your feet while you now try to do as many as you can
in one minute. Keep track of your minute amounts throughout the week working
toward increased scores.
Fifth Grade - 1. Begin preparation for the Presidential Curl Up test - check
your expected number and complete that many every other day. 2. Complete
the back of the Skeleton Review Handout and get the front signed by a
parent. Return on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
Sixth Grade - 1. Review the difference between health-related fitness
components and skill-related fitness components. Which components are the
ones that we should be concerned with? 2. Begin preparation for the
Presidential Curl Up test - check your expected number and complete that many
every other day.
Seventh Grade - 1. Review the difference between muscular strength and
muscular endurance. 2. Begin preparation for the Presidential Curl Up test -
check your expected number and complete that many every other day.
Eighth Grade - 1. Review how exercises used to develop muscular strength
differ from those exercises used to develop muscular endurance. 2. Begin
preparation for the Presidential Curl Up test - check your expected number
and complete that many every other day.

material provided on their health/fitness study guide.
