I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1995. After I graduated, I began teaching at Mary Queen of Peace. I taught kindergarten for one year and first grade for three years. I have a wonderful husband, Brett and three amazing children Alyssa (10), Daniel (8), and Jake (6). While my children attended preschool, I taught at Kirkwood United Methodist. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s of Education in Communications with an Emphasis in Reading at Webster University. This is my second year teaching kindergarten at St. Gerard. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and all outdoor activities. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
Mrs. Rothery
We are extremely fortunate to have Mrs. Rothery helping in our class on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. She has worked as a Primary Aide at St. Gerard for seven years. Mrs. Rothery will support the learning and development of the students in our class. She will work with children individually and facilitate small groups.
Mrs. Eggert
Mrs. Eggert is returning for her second year at St. Gerard Majella. She will be helping in our class on Thursdays and Fridays. Mrs. Eggert will work directly with individual students and small groups. We are very glad to have her!
Mission For The Class
My goal is to provide a nurturing environment which promotes academic excellence in all areas of development. I strive to meet the individual needs and differences of each child in my class. I feel it is important to promote the development of each child spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially.
