Turkey Disguise Projects-
The turkeys are fantastic!  Everyone worked very hard on this project.  I don't think our turkeys are going to be eaten this Thanksgiving!

Field Trip-
Look in your child's backpack next week for the permission slip form to The Museum of Transportation.

Reading-
We read multiple Thanksgiving stories this week.  We made a KWL chart on Thanksgiving.  KWL means what they know, what they want to know, and what they learned.

Please reinforce these words at home; I, we, can, the, like, a, see.

Social Studies-
In Social Studies, we are working on our unit on Pilgrims and Indians.  Thank you very much for working so hard on the clothespin doll projects.

Math-  We are continuing to work on more or less.

Handwriting-
In Handwriting, we reviewed the letters Aa and Cc.
These are the letters we have learned to form; Ii, Ll, Tt, Aa, and Oo.

Phonics-
We worked on high frequency words and putting them in sentences.

Religion-
We focused on activities that helped the children deepen their awareness of the special talents God has given them.
