Thanksgiving Village-
Thank you for all the hard work you put into the clothespin dolls.  Our village looks great!

The Museum of Transportation-
Please turn in your field trip permission form as soon as possible.  Thanks!

6th Grade Buddies-
Ms. Manganaro's class picked their favorite childhood books to read to the A.M. kindergarten on Thursday.  Ms. Brand's class will read to the P.M. class on Tuesday.  Both kindergarten classes love their buddy time!

Book Fair Classroom Donations-
Thank you to all the families who donated books to our classroom library!  It is greatly appreciated!

Reading-
We read the story, On The Go, by Ann Morris.  We made a list of different kinds of transportation.  We also compared the books, A Bus For Us and On The Go.  Then the class wrote sentences about how they would like to travel.

Practice the new high frequency word; go

Please reinforce these words at home; I, we, can, the, like, a, see.

Social Studies-
In Social Studies, we are continuing to work on our Pilgrims and Indians unit.

Math-  We worked on graphing this week. The students got to circulate the room and vote on their favorite playground equipment.  Then they filled out a graph comparing the data they collected.

Handwriting-
These are the letters we have learned to form; Ii, Ll, Tt, Aa, Oo and Cc.

Phonics-
We worked on the short and long sound of Ii.

Religion-
The students assembled a small Bible to take home.  We had a wonderful discussion about the different stories in the Bible.
