Greetings!! My name is Mr. Bill
Alexander and I am in my eighth year of teaching science at St. John Vianney
High School. This year, I will teach all Biology 2 Honors during First
Semester and AP Biology, Biology 2 Honors, and Biology 1 Honors Second
Semester. As well, I have held the position of Science Department Chairman for
the last five years.
I am also the Head Swimming Coach and
welcome more Griffins in joining our team--especially the Freshmen!! It is a
great way to get involved in a growing program--we have increased from 12 to
over 30 Griffins in just four years--and in a highly competetive sport. There
are many great things happening here at Vianney this year and I believe it is
an exciting time to be associated with the school in any capacity. As you will
hear often, "It is a great day (and a great time) to be a Griffin!"
On a personal level, I have been
married for nine years to my wife, Mary; she is a teacher in the Ritenour
School District. We are extremely busy as we have twins boys who will be seven
in October and a daughter who just turned five in June.
