Welcome to my web page! I am proud to be teaching Freshman Sacred Scriptures
and to be working
as a Campus Minister in this my tenth year at St. John Vianney High School.
For the past ten years, I
have dedicated myself to the social and academic success of freshmen Griffins,
having only taught
Freshman Sacred Scriptures in my time here. I am blessed to have the
opportunity to continue with
my students on their faith journey throughout their high school years as their
Campus Minister. Meeting
the Golden Griffins when enter Vianney as eager freshmen and watching them
grow into young adults
is one of my greatest pleasures. My other responsibilites at Vianney include
serving as a Campus
Minister, co-moderating the LINK Crew transition program, and co-moderating
the Griffin LIFE
faith sharing group on Tuesday nights from 5:00-7:30.
In 2001, I graduated from Saint Louis University with two bachelor's degrees.
One is in English
and one is in Secondary Education. I earned a master's degree in theology from
SLU in May of 2008.
I am currently pursuing a master's degree in English from the University of
Missouri, St. Louis.
Personally, I live in South City and belong to St. Gabriel the Archangel parish.
My family has deep
roots in many of the South City parishes. On July 31, 2010 I married Kathy
Dailey, a wonderful
woman, and it has been exciting for us to start our life together. I have sung
in St. Gabe's adult
choir for about fifteen years, and I produce a family musical play at St.
Gabe's every summer. I have
lived in St. Louis my entire life. My parents live in Eureka, and my twin
brother Mark lives in South City.
I am dedicated to the success of the Golden Griffins, and I encourage both
students and parents to
visit with me in person or to e-mail me if they can think of any way that I
can help them to succeed.
May the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit be glorified in all places
through the Immaculate Virgin Mary!
