December Book Report December Book Report December Book Report

                         Due: December 17, 2009

This month we are going to read fiction books. Fiction means the story
is not true. You may choose to read any fiction book that you would like.
Once again, remember to be reading at least 15 minutes each night and fill
out your Reading Log. Have Mom or Dad sign it after you tell them about what
you read.

For your report this month, you are going to make a book jaket. Book
jackets are designed to get people interested in reading a particular book.
They have colorful, fun, and interesting pictures on teh front, along with
the title and the author's name. On the back, you find a plot summary and
sometimes a critical review. Think about what world capture your attention
towards a particular book. What would make you want to make you take it off
the shelf and read it? Be careative and use lots of color!

Here's what to include:

Front ~
   Title
   Author's Name
   Colorful, Eye-Catching Picture

Back ~
Plot Summary: This gives a short description of what the book is about.
        Use at least 10 sentences.

Critical Review: Tell what you thought about the book. Was it good? Would
you recommend it to a friend? Use at least five sentences. Put your
        name after your critical review.

As always, feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Happy Reading,
Mrs. Triller :-)
