I am certified as a guidance counselor k-12 with a master degree from
Missouri Baptist University. Previous to this certification, I obtained a
bachelor degree from Harris Stowe State University and am certified to teach
grades 1-6. I completed my teaching practicum in the St. Louis Public
School system and taught there for five years. I am a mother of two
teenagers and truly enjoy working with the students, families, and faculty
of the Sunrise School District.
The mission of this department is to implement the Comprehensive Missouri
Guidance Program through the district. The Counseling Department also
strives to assist in meeting the needs of all students, their families, the
faculty, and the community on a continual basis.
