Within our units of study, students will be provided many opportunities
for meeting the six outcomes of the Mississippi Gifted Education Framework
for intellectually gifted students. These outcomes include: demonstrating
creativity, using research, communicating knowledge, developing group
dynamics (working as a team), self-directed learning (selecting & completing
independent projects), and strengthening thinking skills.
The goal of the gifted education program is development of self-directed
learners.
