Did you realize that teachers do not have to make up work for unexcused absences? It is very important that when you miss a day from school, that you bring a valid excuse in to the counseling center either a signed parent note stating why you were out or a medical excuse. The handbook covers the policy on absences. Students should not miss more than 20 days per school year. (That's more than you miss in a year of work, isn't it?)
