College Night for juniors and seniors will be August 25th at Oxford High
school with both OHS and LHS students participating. Colleges, banks,
educational agencies will be available for parents and students to ask
questions. Please make plans to attend. It will begin at 6 p.m. at OHS.
Juniors and seniors, you need to be building your resumes. I am updating
scholarships regularly, so look on the financial aid page.
Did you realize that teachers do not have to make up work for unexcused
absences? It is very important that when you miss a day from
school, that you bring a valid excuse in to the counseling center either a
signed parent note stating why you were out or a medical excuse. The
handbook covers the policy on absences. Students should not miss more than
20 days per school year.
(That's more than you miss in a year of work, isn't it?)
