It is very important that seniors make sure they have the classes they need to graduate. Seniors should also check credits and grades for honors or special honors if they are in that program.
When you need a teacher, principal, or counselor to write a letter of recommendation for you, remember these things: Give them the information requested by your college or scholarship, give them specific information that they can include in the letter (Clubs you belong to, service you have done, important information about yourself), ask them to print the letter on school letterhead, tell them the deadline, provide stamped envelopes for them, give the information early (don't wait until the week the letter is due), and tell them thank you (or better, write a thank you note).
