Mr. Pearson came to Lafayette High School in 2001-02. He is from Eupora.
Mrs. Hewlett, formerly Debbie Cook, graduated from Lafayette High School in
1973. She is married to Lynn Hewlett, and they have 3 grown children--all of
whom graduated from Lafayette High School. Debbie has been employed at LHS
since 1981.
Mrs. Babb has been employed at Lafayette since 1991. She was a teacher and
then became a counselor at Lafayette Middle School after two years at
Vardaman High School as high school counselor. She returned to Lafayetteas
the middle school counselor from 2003-08. She moved to the high school in
the fall of 2008 as the junior and senior counselor.
The mission of LHS is to challenge all students academically and
vocationally. We hope to instill a positive work ethic and a safe atmosphere
of mutual respect.
