- I am pleased to announce that the Lafayette High School Air Force Junior ROTC Academic Team has advanced from round one of the Air Force Academic Challenge Competion to round 2 which will be held in January. If they advance from round 2 to the finals they will receive and all expense trip to Bolling Air Force Base to compete in the finals in April. The members of "The Fighting Falcons" team are: Tori Miller, Alex Bowman, Tyler Sparks, Reese Mardis, Arnissa Tyson, and Janet Giron'Legarda.
