| Mrs. Bautista, a new teacher at LHS this year, proves herself by defeating all of the other teachers in the race for turkey feathers. Mrs. Bautisata received 602 feathers, raising more than $150. |

Bags for the Pantry
The Key Club collected 3,500 brown bags to donate to the food pantry.

Day of the Dead
The spanish 3 class made a ofrenda and "sugar skulls" to celebrate Mexico's Day of the Dead on Nov. 2. They decorated the skull shaped 'candy' with icing and made papel picados.

The Outsiders
Mrs. Daisy Bullard's fifth period class created drawings of the characters from the novel, "The Outsiders." The girls (from left to right) are Mary King, Riley Cook, Rachel Whitehorn, Brianna McDaniel, LaRissa Arbuckle, Amber Adams, Blakleigh Jones, and Mary Roberts.
Roaring Twenties
This week Mrs. Logan's classes are teaching each other about the changes in 1920 after World War 2. Mrs. Logan explained about these classes in the pictures below, "These are the flappers; rebellious women of the Rooring Twenties who changed their looks, attitudes and values, that resulted in a double standard."
