I taught 28 1/2 years in public schools in Florida and Mississippi before
retiring and coming to Oak Hill. This is my eighth year at Oak Hill, and I
love teaching here. I have previously taught third through sixth grades.
Fourth grade is the only grade I have taught at Oak Hill. To me it is the
perfect grade to teach. I enjoy the students, teachers, administrators, and
parents at Oak Hill. I find that they are all easy to work with. My husband
is a retired high school administrator and now is the director of the
Caledonia YMCA. I have a married son and three grandchildren. I enjoy
reading, working out at the Y, and playing with my grandchildren.
My mission is to provide a safe, comfortable environment in which all
students can grow socially and excel academically.
