I was born and raised in Water Valley, Mississippi. My birthday is February
01, 1981. I am married to Michael Fonte, who is also from Water Valley. He is
currently the Assistant Administrator of the Yalobusha General Hospital and
Nursing Home.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from The University of
Mississippi in 2003, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in
2008. I also earned a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership with an
emphasis in Administration in June of 2011.
I began my teaching career in the Water Valley School District in 2003. I
taught kindergarten for five years at Davidson Elementary School before I
moved to De Soto County to teach kindergarten and third grade in 2008.
My passion is making a difference in the lives of children! I absolutely love
teaching children. It makes me smile when I see the look on their faces when
they finally get a concept! It's a great moment for me!
