I am a divorced mother of three children. My oldest daughter, Hali, is
a registered nurse. She lives in Poplarville, Mississippi. .She is the mother
of one child, Tucker Martin. He is now three years old. He lives in New
Orleans with his father.
My sons are Steven and Justin. Steven is married. His wife is named Katie.
She is from Long Island, New York. They currently live in Beaufort, North
Carolina. He is an unmanned aircraft operator for a private security firm. He
will be going back to Afghanistan this fall. Justin lives in Picayune,
Mississippi. He is a student at the University of Southern Mississippi and
works for Home Depot. He is also in United States Airforce serving as a
reservist.
I was born and raised in Batesville, Mississippi. I graduated from Delta
State University. I have been teaching for 15 years. I have been teaching at
Pope School since graduating from Delta State in 1996. I taught first grade
for ten years and second grade for a year. I have also taught fourth and
fifth grades.. I am a National Board
Certified teacher. I am a member of the National Board for Professional
Teachers. I recieved my certification in November 2006. I am also a member of
Pi Lambda Theta International Honor Society and Professional Association in
Education.
The students will know what to expect. They are expected to do their best.
