I am originally from Tupelo, Mississippi but have lived in Madison County
since 1992 when I graduated from college. I am married and have two sons
who are 18 and 14. I have two dogs (one lives in my heart) and two cats. I
have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State
University and I worked in the marketing field for several years before
going back to school to take the classes required to become a teacher. I
recently completed a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at
Mississippi College. This is my tenth year in the classroom and I love
being a Ridgeland Titan!
First and foremost, it is my goal for all students to leave the classroom
better equipped for life in the real world than when they entered.
This only happens when they take ownership in the class and assume
responsibility for taking the knowledge they acquire and using it for
something positive. There are no limits to what each student can learn and
accomplish. Mississippi Cooperative Education is an excellent program for
students to acquire both the knowledge and skills necessary to become
productive members of our ever-changing global society.
