Course Description: This course is designed to provide students who possess
exceptional interest and abilities with an opportunity to pursue in-depth
learning in the Visual Arts. The student will continue to build and increase
intellectual and creative ability through increasingly complex design
problems. In - depth studies of specific artists or historical/stylistic
periods will be emphasized. Supplies that the district does not supply that
the student needs to fulfill his/her creative goals wil be the responsibility
of the student. The student must have completed Art I, Art II, parental
permission and approval from the art teacher to sign up for this class
Art III students are small in number but great in talent!
Students are to continually take photographs, cut clippings from magazines
and sketch in skechbooks all year. This is part of their grade.Practice!

The student will be exploring Mississippi and Panola County artists this
year along with developing their style, technique and portfolio.
