Homework

READING:  Can a young mongoose protect a human family in India from deadly 
cobras? We’ll read Rikki-Tikki-Tavi and draw our own conclusions.
LANGUAGE:  :  We will deal with irregular verbs and contractions with verbs.
SPELLING:  Words with vowels in the final syllable will be in sentences 
tested Friday.
MATH:  Topics include:  estimating arithmetic problems, rate problems with a 
given total, displaying data using graphs, and test #11.
SCIENCE:  We’ll read about vertebrates, the life cycle of a reptile, and how 
animals adapt as we finish the chapter.  The test will be next week, probably 
Tuesday.
