This week we will start taking a Pre-Test on Wednesdays. If your child
spells all the words correctly on Pre-Test they do not have to take their
test on Friday. They will still have to take the Sentence Dictation part of
the Friday test. This week we will be working with words that end with
double letters.
Here are a few ways that you can help your child practice their words:
1) Have them write them a few times.
2) Help them find their Spelling Words in other reading material such as
books, magazines, newspapers, labels, etc.
3) Put the words that they are having difficulty with on cards around the
house and quiz them from time to time.
4) Try anything that sounds like fun!
