We will be identifying Triangles and sorting groups of objects by one
Attribute. We will also be using Geoboard to make different shapes. It is
an exciting time for the kids during many of our Math Activities. We try to
use real objects when ever possible. One of these activities is counting
money. We use real coins to count different amounts of money. We will be
counting pennies this week. A fun activity to do at home is to give your
child a hand full of coins and have them sort them into like coins and
identify the different coins. They aren't ready to count the sum of the
coins yet, but they will soon.
