Hi Fifth Graders and Parents,
Can you believe that the first quarter of school is already over? I am
excited to get to talk to you at Parent Teacher Conferences. For those of
you who cannot make it on the scheduled days, feel free to meet with me
anytime. You can call me at home or at school to set up a meeting.
We have been moving right along in academics. Math is all about decimals
right now, and any extra review at home would be great! We just finished a
chapter on plant diversity in Science, so we are ready for some animals
next! The Silk Road has been interesting for the kids, and they also enjoyed
learning about the Vikings in Social Studies. Any home discussion about
school with your fifth grader would be a great way to know what they are
working on, and it's also a great reveiw for your little one!
We are looking at a ski trip for grades 5 through 8 on the 17th. of
December. This is such a fun trip! I would love it if everyone got to go.
Mr. Nau is working out the details and we will have more information for you
later in the month.
