NCAA basketball season at the Durfee home is quite exciting!!!
Mrs. Durfee loves babysitting her grand-daughter, reading, gardening,
quilting and water skiing ...and working with the students at St. Jude
Catholic School!
Our computer lab is used as a tool for learning, just like the pencils and
textbooks used in regular classrooms. Every student spends at least 40
minutes a week in the lab, except for the Kindergartners who enjoy 30
minutes every Tuesday. In addition, the 7th and 8th graders usually work
in the lab 2-3 times a week completing literature, social studies or current
events projects. Computer activities are coordinated with
lessons in the students' classroom providing them with additional
reinforcement and learning experiences.
