Dear Parents,
Happy New Year! I hope all of you and your loved ones had a
wonderful and blessed Christmas. It's hard to believe we are
beginning a new year (2010) and that your child is halfway
finished with his or her Kindergarten school year. We will be
very busy for the remainder of the school year and as always,
appreciate the guidance and support that you have provided to
me thus far!!
Show and Tell will take place on Friday, January 8, 2010. Please
have your child bring in an object that begins with the 'f' sound.
Your child will provide the children with three clues that pertain
to the object that is hidden inside a bag. Please note if your child
is unable to find an object that begins with this initial sound, he
or she may print a picture from the Internet.
The parish of St. Pius V was very appreciative of the money they
received from all of the Kindergarten classes throughout the holiday
season. Thank you very much for your generous donations!
As always, thank you so much for giving your child an opportunity to
contribute to the Missions within our classroom. It makes me very
happy to see the children take pride in supporting the Missions.
There will be an early dismissal at 1:05 p.m. on January 12, 2010.
The parking lot will close at 1:00 p.m. on this day.
The Clifford presentations have been enjoyed by everyone in our class,
including me. Thank you for allowing Clifford to be a member of your
family for a weekend!
Please check with your child to see if he or she is in need of more
pencils, crayons, glue sticks or coloring book. If possible, please
have your child purchase a larger size glue stick as the glue seems to
stay on the stick better and not fall off so easily after a couple of
uses for art projects. Some of the children are in need of these school
supplies as some have been broken or they are too small to use for their
school work.
