Dear Parents,
Show and Tell will not take place this week as there is no school on
Friday, November 13, 2009. Enjoy your day off!
The Holy Infant Scholastic Book Fair (Destination Book Fair) will be
taking place throughout this week in Rosario Hall and will end at
8:30 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2009.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on two days. The first day
of conferences will be on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 beginning at
1:30 p.m. - (there will be an early dismissal on this day at
12:00 p.m.). The second day of conferences will take place on
Thursday, November 12, 2009 and will begin at 3:30 p.m. - (classes
will be in session all day).
Holy Infant School Picture Re-Take day will take place on Monday,
November 23, 2009 in the Lower Cafeteria. If you want your child to
have his or her picture retaken, please send in the envelopes
containing all of the pictures as it will need to be presented to
the photographer on that day.
As always, thank you so much for giving your child an opportunity to
contribute to the Missions within our classroom. It makes me very
happy to see the children take pride in supporting the Missions.
The Clifford presentations have been enjoyed by everyone in our class,
including me. Thank you for allowing Clifford to be a member of your
family for a weekend!
Please check with your child to see if he or she is in need of more
pencils, crayons and glue sticks. If possible, please have your child
purchase a larger size glue stick as the glue seems to stay on the
stick better and not fall off so easily after a couple of uses for art
projects. Some of the children are in need of these school supplies as
some have been broken or they are too small to use for their school work.
Please continue discussing with your child the lunch options for each day
(if he or she is buying the Hot Plate Lunch, bringing their lunch and
purchasing a drink, or just bringing their lunch along with a drink of
their choice). If your child is purchasing anything for lunch, please
make sure the money is included in a labeled envelope to me or that your
have a lunch card issued in your child's name. Some of the children are
still confused on if they need to buy a drink with their packed lunch or
just use the drink provided within their backpack.
