HERE'S OUR WEEKMrs. Braun’s Classroom DATE: January 4-8, 2010 Monday: Welcome Back! I'm sure we have much to talk about on this first day after Christmas vacation! I hope all the students are ready to take AR tests to meet their goals by January 15th.
Please look for the Lucky Book Club order form. Please order by Friday, January 8th by sending the order form and check made out to Lucky Book Club. Tuesday: Please study math multiplication facts. Wednesday: Mrs. Braun's Reading group should review the vocabulary for tomorrow's reading story quiz.

Please review for tomorrow's reading unit test (Mrs. Braun's class) and spelling test. Friday: All-School Liturgy
Spelling test
Mrs. Braun's Reading group unit test* This will be moved to next Tuesday if we have a snow day on Thursday. We will have the Spelling test and the story quiz from Thursday if we do not have school on Thursday.
Special Note: Thank you for all the wonderful, thoughtful Christmas gifts. I enjoyed a delightful vacation with my family in Florida where my oldest daughter lives. While visiting Florida my youngest daughter received a contract for a veterinarian position. She graduates from Mizzou's Veterinary School in May and is ready to begin her new career. It was truly a very busy but fun time for our family. I hope you had a relaxing vacation because now it is back to work!
Please continue to drill multiplication facts. It is essential that the children memorize the facts to be successful in school. We will continue to practice daily at school but all children need reinforcement at home. Please send the Lucky Club Book order by Friday, January 8th. Please check your child's AR folder--the goal must be met by next Friday, the end of the quarter. The Book, Unit 1 test includes:
