Parent education and involvement is a passion to me! I believe that no
matter how hard the staff works to educate your child-academically,
emotionally, and socially-if the parent is not involved, we will not see
your
child's full potential. I also believe that every parent is doing the best
that he/she knows how at any given time. And that's where parent
education
fits in to my role as school counselor. There is not a perfect parent in
existence--we all need new ideas and support from time to time. Being
a
parent is the most important and biggest job in the world and Anderson
Elementary wants to help. There are resources provided at school for parents
to
look in to and I like to make myself available for consultation so that we
can work together to generate new ideas.
