   Students are expected to read 30 minutes every night for practice and 
application of learned reading skills. This is imperative for their growth in 
developing good reading skills that includes; phonemic awareness, phonics, 
fluency,expression, and comprehension. Also students should practice writing 
their Spelling words nightly on a dry erase board which is a good visual tool 
to use when practicing.
