I graduated from UNCW with degrees in both Social Work and Spanish. I then
received my Master's degree in Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2005.
Since then, I have worked in a private therapeutic foster care agency in
Wilmington as well as Rachel Freeman Elementary. I am pleased
to be a part of the Anderson team and look forward to working
with each of you.
My goal is to facilitate services for students, families, and school
personnel as well as to promote and support academic success by addressing
physical, social, emotional, and individual needs.
I believe that:
* Each child, regardless of race, gender, income, social class, or religion
has a right to equal treatment in our school.
* Students learn at different rates.
* Each student deserves respect regardless of their circumstances in life.
* Each student should be given the opportunity to share in the academic
process in order to achieve success.
