It's hard to believe that this school year is almost over! Your children
will be Third Graders in just a few days!! It has been a privilege to be
your child's second grade teacher. I have truly enjoyed this group of
children.
Field Day is this Friday, June 5th. A few reminders:
Please dress your child in old clothes. They will get wet and dirty!
No skirts, dresses, flip flops etc.
Apply sunscreen before leaving home.
Bring in a filled water bottle labeled with your child's name.
Send in a change of clothes for afterwards in a plastic bag.
Tuesday, June 9th we will walk to Veteran's Park picnic shelter #1 for our
end of year party. Please send in permission slips and money immediately.
We are looking for donations of drinks, chips/pretzels, cut fruit, and
cookies to complete our lunch. Please let me know ASAP if you can send in
any of these items. Thanks!!
We still have a few class pictures available for purchase. They are
$10 each. Make checks payable to Lifetouch.
There will not be any more homework for the year. Please continue to check
folders daily and sign the conduct grid. Thanks!
