This is my second year at Anderson and I am so excited to be here! I have
nine years of previous teaching experience and have taught first, second, and
third grade. Second grade is definately my favorite!
I am originally from Wilmington and earned both my undergraduate and graduate
degree from UNCW. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors with my dog, Sadie.
If I'm not outside, you will usually find me engrossed in a good book!
This year, we are very fortunate to have Ms. Vanessa Pilkington as our student
intern. Ms. Pilkington is currently attending UNCW and will graduate after
completing her internship in December.
My mission is to provide a safe and motivating learning community where all
students can experience success. My goal is for students to become self-
directed, life-long learners.
