About The Teacher

After teaching first grade for six years in Greenwich Connecticut, I moved to
Wilmington five years ago with my husband, Jayson and son Jaylen. Six months
later we welcomed our newest addition, Josette Loren. All of us enjoy long
walks in our neighborhood with our three dogs Niko, a chocolate lab, and
L'una, our one-eyed Staffordshore terrier and a miniature schnauzer named
Fenway. I was very lucky to have been able to teach first grade at Parsley
Elementary and joined Anderson's staff in the 2007 school year. And while I
have truly enjoying the warm weather and the beaches of North Carolina this
summer,I am so excited to be back in the classroom teaching first grade here
at Anderson. I graduated from Stonehill College with a BA in Elementary
Education and from Scared Heart University where I received my MA in
Learning. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy running, reading and
relaxing. I know my energy and experience will bring out the fun in
learning. I look forward to the school year at Anderson.
