Mr. Mathews is very excited to teach at Anderson Elementary! He has been
teaching music in the public school system for 14 years. He was previously
at Williston Middle School for the past six years and before that he taught
kindergarden through fifth grade in Brunswick County.
Mr. Mathews like to listen to music, make music, ride his bike and read in
his spare time. He and his wife also like to watch movies.
My mission for music classes at Anderson is for every student to appreciate
music and strive to learn beyond the class by researching, reading and
listening to the composers and music we hear in music class.
