Did you know that Friday, September 12th, is National Chocolate Milkshake Day?
Our class learned about it first hand! We did lots of math problem solving
problems about chocolate milkshakes and completed a reading comprehension
selection about them. Then we got the best surprise....Chick-fil-A donated
chocolate milkshakes to each of us! It was the best lunch ever!!!! Thanks
Chick-fil-A, we love your milkshakes!!!
During the Summer of 2008, Mrs. Adams was awarded another grant from Donors
Choose. The grant was for more Snap Blocks and a Math Baseball game. These
items will be shipped in September.
Math homework will be assigned each night Monday through Thursday. Please
study your math facts each weekend. The better and faster you are at your
multiplication tables, the easier you will make fractions and algebra.
Progress reports go out weekly for both Math and Social Studies. Please
review these with your child.
