About The Teacher

My name is Bambi Rivenbark.  I graduated from UNC-W in 1990 with a BS degree 
in K-12: Learning Disabilities and Mental Retardation.  I since have added 
Pre-school Handicapped, Birth-Kindergarten and Special Education: Adapted 
Curriculum certification.

I am currently "team teaching" in the IAS-SC(Intensive Academic Support - 
Social/Communication) and the ISCS(Intensive Social/Communication Support) 
Program here at Anderson Elementary.  

I joined the faculty and staff from Carolina Beach Elementary School here at 
Anderson Elementary last school year while teaching in the SDA-DL(Specially 
Designed Academics – Daily Living) classroom. 

I taught in the SDA-DL classroom at Codington Elementary for 3 years.  
This will be my 7th year teaching in the area of Exceptional Children. 

I have two children. My oldest daughter, MiKenzi is in the 11th grade at 
Ashley High School and my youngest daughter, Camden is in the 7th grade at 
Myrtle Grove Middle School. 

I have been married 18 years to my wonderful husband, Keith.
  

Other members of our family include 1 dog: Sampson;4 cats: Maggie, 
Pepper, Callie and Nala; and 1 squirrel: Mater.
