Hello Parents and Students!
WE ARE GETTING READY FOR END OF GRADE TESTING!!!! Attached to the newsletter this week are
several different vocabulary sheets that students can use to review for the EOG's. Please help
us by quizzing your children on these vocabulary words!! It will be a great benefit to them when
they feel confident on the day of the tests!!!!
You may have noticed your child coming home with a sticker that says “I know the ropes” This
sticker means that your child has been noticed doing something positive at school. The
R.O.P.E.S. is our positive behavior program. Students have been given 5 key positive behaviors
they should follow throughout the day. Ask your child if they know the ropes. They should!!
R- Be Respectful
O-Opt to be a problem solver
P-Be Prepared
E-Establish Healthy Habits
S-Be Safe

EOG PREP!!!!! Please continue to review the multiplication and division facts with your child.
This will help them GREATLY in math this year!!

*SOCIAL STUDIES

Students will be learning about the Revolutionary War over the next several weeks. We
will talk about the events leading up to the war, the cause of the war, and important people who
had an impact in the war. Ask your child what they have learned so far about the revolutionary
war!!
