Summer Educational/Leadership Programs

This page contains information regarding summer educational and leadership 
camp offerings at various institutions.  Most of these camps require fees 
for attendance.  If you are unable to access the links provided, please come 
to the Student Services Office for more information and/or paper 
applications to the desired camps.  Most of the programs are located on 
college and community college campuses.  Some are day camps and some are 
residential.  Most camps have registration deadlines.  Interested students 
are encouraged to send in their applications to attend summer camps ASAP.

*Page Program in Washington, DC.  Current sophomores or juniors 
may apply to 
be a page in the US House of Representatives.  Students must be 
16 years of 
age & must have a 3.0 GPA in core academic courses.  Interested

*Super Camp at Wake Forest University is a dynamic & engaging 
learning & 
life skills camp tht helps kids raise their grades, confidence, & 
motivation. Two camps are offered: Senior Forum for students 
entering grades 
9-12 in the fall and a Junior Forum for students entering grades 
6-8. A 
Parent Weekend is also offered where parents can learn some of 
what the 
students are learning at the camp & to help parents stay more 
involved

* Curie Academy at Cornell University: The academy's target

*Free Enterprise Leadership Challenge: The FELC will be held in 2 
sessions 
this summer @ Wingate University in Wingate, NC: June 14-18, 2009

25, 2009. This is a 5 day residential program where students

market economics, and create businesses in small groups that 
provide products 
and/or services to other members of the camp. Students create 
business & 
marketing plans, pay taxes & maintain accounting records for
